Gracie's Nursery Tour
Gracie's room is finally complete and we love how it all came out! I hope you love it just as much as we do :)
Take a look at all the details and leave me a comment telling me what you like most about the room. I will select a winner to receive a Gadanke "You Are Loved" baby journal on Monday, July 11.
This is what you see as you enter the room.
Here's a bird's-eye view... (not the best photo but you get the idea)
And this is what Gracie sees from her crib (baby viewpoint courtesy of daddy! HEE!!)
There's a glider in the corner for us to feed and rock the baby. That pink and green quilt was made especially for Grace by my sweet friend, Maritza.
I fell in LOVE with this butterfly mobile from Pottery Barn Kids and just had to have it! And of course the vintage scale completes the look of the room!
This is a good view of the beautiful decals that Richard put up in the room. The tree is full of leaves in two shades of green and there are owls, butterflies and squirrels all around. LOVE it!
She's got a bookshelf and wall-mounted peg shelf that hold her books and other little things, including her first purse (Vera Bradley, of course! This was a gift from her Godmother, Ady!)
Here you can see the quilt in more detail.
And the scale, which is now holding a few stuffed animals.
These adorable hair bows were made by Richard's cousin and hung from a ribbon as a baby shower gift.
The decals look like they're painted on the wall... the quality of these is excellent. So bright and cheery!
We picked up this clock in Mount Dora during our last flea market trip in February.
This pink wooden sign is also from our Mount Dora trip. It's hanging above the closet doors.
A close-up of the gorgeous alphabet print, which adds a nice pop of color to the room.
And finally, a peek at Gracie's wardrobe. I'm only keeping clothes from newborn to 6 months in her closet and they're all sorted by size so I don't forget to use an outfit. I really like this system. I'm all for organization and convenience!
Hope you enjoyed the tour. In case you have any questions, here's a list of sources.

Aww, she is adorable! Congratulations! Her nursery is beautiful, too. My favorite part is the wall vinyl of the tree and owls.
she is so sweet....congratulations!!! I so envy you for decorating her room so well. I love every bit of it and if we were not moving so much then I would have done something similar for my daughter. I like the adorable butterfly hanging thing for the bows...such a cute idea as all her favorite bows will be well organised and it is so versatile. I can totally imagine a girl using it for couple of years...
i love all the owls. so cute.
Vane: It is beautiful! Can't wait to go see you two beautiful girls!!!
Love you a ton!
Hugs,
Me
Your room is just beautiful. My faves, the clock and the tree on the wall. Love it! I have a sweet baby in mind for that journal, thanks for sharing!
Vane, the room is absolutely adorable! I love the picture where Richard is holding Grace: ) She looks just like daddy!!!
Vane
The entire room is absolutely gorgeous just like baby Gracie! But I absolutely love the tree with owls, butterflies and squirrel going up the tree, omg and the view for the baby, the best!!!!
Beautiful. Love all the owls. I just redid our family room as a playroom for Emily with owls too. I added a decal on the wall, and can you believe she already ripped half of it off the wall? It's like the colors were calling her name LOL Enjoy your sweety!
Oh my goodness! Its beautiful! I cant tell if I like the butterfly mobile or the owls best! That glider looks SOOOO comfortable, I'm sure you'll be loving that. You should say where you got it. I may be needing one.
So beautiful, love the tree with the owls... and your little girl
Congrats :!!!
This is really beautiful ! Congratulations.
oops
What a sweet dreamy room. I love it. I love the first picure. My favorite detail is the way you have the quilt draped over the crib ready and waiting for Grace. Also the wall art behind the crib, aeesome. I like to end my comments with God bless but HE already has. TEAR
Congratulations!!! I love the "Grace Alphabet print". The paper butterflies are cute too! Thank you for the chance!

I put the trees and animals on the wall so I have to say they are my favorite especially the little squirrel playing with the butterfly above the crib! well thanks for your comments everyone, good luck to the winner..... I was banned!
Richard...AKA Daddy
Beautiful!!! Love all the details!
Scrappy,,, I love it all. The wall is beautiful - but the overall colors and "feel" of the room is the best!! It says peace, love & happiness. Great job you guys.

Gracie's nursery is AMAZING. You guys did such an awesome job - it's one of the very nicest I've ever seen. I especially love the little clock and the awesome tree on the wal with the little owls - it is fabulous!!!
this room is totally awesome!! how much creativity! she will definitely enjoy it :)
I love the babies room... It's gorgeous.
Perfect! Warm, cheery, girlie, modern. Just the way I would have done it if I had to do it over again.
I hope you three enjoy it, and that Gracie is the happiest girl in her beautiful room <3
I love everything but my absolute favorites are the tree decal and the weighing scale. The clock is such a great find too. :-)
You and Richard did an amazing job, it's a beautiful room!
What a gorgeous room, it's all so well put together. I loved putting together my first two babies rooms. Now I'm on # 4 (due in 5 weeks) and we have kind of run out of space!!
How very kind of you to give away the baby journal, thank you.

Okay, SERIOUSLY gorgeous!! I had no doubt it would be! LOVE the lamp--and every other single detail. She is so loved and blessed!! Great work, Vanessa!! xo
Congratulations V! So excited for you and your husband and your perfect little 3-some! It is such a wonderful life. James, Ripley, and I were all snug in the bed watching Scooby Doo and having breakfast in bed this morning, and our little doggie Tuli was squeezed inbetween us all, taking a big ol' nap, and I just said out loud, "This is PERFECT." And it really is! Good luck with it all, as it can be wonderful and stressful and beautiful and painful and up and down and all around, especially that first year of mommy-hood.
