I'm back!!!!!!!!

I know, I know... I have been gone for a while... I was in Puerto Rico for 16 wonderful, action-packed days. It was one of the best vacations ever. I loved showing Richard my island home, where I was born and where I grew up. It felt amazing to go back after so long and see my family and all the places I remember so fondly -- plus some new ones along the way! I cannot wait to go back.

I have TONS of photos for my scrapbook, but I haven't edited them yet. My goal is to edit and print them all before my Scrapbook Beach Retreat in September so I can focus on this album that weekend. Here is a glimpse of our visit to Puerto Rico:

This was taken at El Morro

La Mina waterfall in El Yunque

Old San Juan

Playa Flamenco on Culebra

View from El Conquistador resort

Sun Bay Beach on Vieques

Lighthouse in Cabo Rojo

My Tio Ismael, the eldest of my dad's brothers

Titi Chave, Crucita, Tio Toñin and me (my uncle Toñin looks so much like my dad, but my dad was taller!)

Scenic view of Vega Baja, where I lived during my junior high and high school years

The house my Papi built on a hill in San Sebastian (I grew up here!)

Guajataca Beach

My sister, Mabel, with her boyfriend and daughter

The Camuy Caves

My sweet Godparents, who renewed their vows on July 18 in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary

I hope you enjoyed all my photos! I'll be back soon with layouts and some CHA sneaks of products I like...

Two more layouts

Hi my friends!

I have been a very busy bee, as things at work have been quite hectic... but hey, I am NOT complaining...

Here are a couple more layouts I made using the May Cocoa Daisy kit. I just love this kit!

Here's a photo I haven't shared yet. For Father's Day, we took my father-in-law, Pepe, and my step dad, Jorge, to The Rustic Inn in Ft. Lauderdale for some delicious crab. We had a great time. Here's a picture of me and Jorge.

Tomorrow I am off to Puerto Rico on vacation. Whoohoo! I am so very excited to visit my island. This is where I was born and raised and it still pulls at my heart strings. I cannot wait to tour the whole island, go to the beach, snorkel, eat yummy Puerto Rican food, visit family and sightsee.

I'll try to blog from the road!!! Good night...

Peace and happy scrapping!
